Configuring Multi-Store Support

Multi-store support allows you to create multiple stores with the same SF org.

Setting Up

Set up is the same as creating for a normal store.

• Create a store with your desired domain
• Create a taxonomy and product categories for your store
• Add products to your new store

Scoping Products

Products are scoped by store through taxonomy. To display a product on the site, you must have an active product with an active join to a product category that belongs to the taxonomy that belongs to the store.

Setting a product as inactive would hide it on all stores, while setting all product product categories (product-product category join) for a particular taxonomy, would hide it only for that store.

By default, all product product categories created are set to active.

Scoping Product Categories

Product categories are scoped by taxonomy. Only those product categories that are associated to a store (via taxonomy) will be displayed on a given store.
